DAY 1: Acceleration Speed & First Step Quickness

Saturday, November 22 | 1:00 - 3:00 PM

This session teaches athletes how to explode off the line and create first-step quickness. We break down each drill and learn how to generate powerful force, lean into the sprint, and control the drive phase with pro-level technique.

Key Focus Areas:

  • First-step mechanics & drive phase

  • Horizontal force production drills

  • Sprint start technique from multiple positions

What to Expect:
Your athlete will walk away with sharper reaction time, cleaner takeoffs, and more explosive speed from the first step — giving them a competitive edge from the start of every play.

DAY 2: Multi-Directional Speed & Quickness

Sunday, November 23 | 9:00 - 11:00 AM

Speed isn’t just about running in a straight line. This session is designed to unlock the agility, footwork, and control needed to cut, shuffle, and crossover with purpose.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Lateral acceleration & shuffle mechanics

  • Reactive change-of-direction drills

  • Footwork & body control under pressure

What to Expect:
Your athlete will move with greater balance, sharper control, and improved quickness in every direction — giving them the tools to defend, attack, and recover like a pro.

ABOUT COACH JOEY GREANY

From the dusty baseball fields of his childhood to the international stage of the Junior Olympic Games and MLB postseasons, Coach Greany's journey in sports began early and with purpose. Growing up, he split his time between home plate and the dojo, playing baseball and training in martial arts. That dual discipline forged a deep understanding of both power and precision—traits that would shape his future both as an athlete and a coach.

As a collegiate baseball player and a Tae Kwon Do competitor at the Junior Olympics, Coach Greany realized that athleticism was more than just a gift—it was a calling. Inspired by the coaches and mentors who shaped his own journey, he made a decision early on: to dedicate his life to helping others unlock their physical potential.

Now with over two decades of experience in elite sports performance, Coach Greany is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Speed Specialist (CSS) via the National Association of Speed and Explosion. He holds a Master's Degree in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania, bringing both academic insight and real-world application to every training session.

His expertise has taken him across the country and onto national television. His training methods have been featured on Good Day Tampa Bay and Good Day Phoenix, and he’s led speed training camps for athletes at all levels—youth to pro—nationwide.

Coach Greany’s career has been deeply rooted in professional baseball, having worked with the Kansas City Royals, Tampa Bay Rays, and Los Angeles Dodgers organizations. During his time in Minor League Baseball, he was honored with the Professional Baseball Strength and Conditioning Award five times, a testament to the impact he’s had on the game and the athletes he’s served. 

During his career in professional baseball, Coach Greany has been a part of several championship-caliber teams. While with the Tampa Bay Rays, he contributed to five consecutive postseason appearances, including an American League Championship and two American League East Division titles. He was also proud to be part of the Kansas City Royals organization during their incredible run to a World Series Championship in 2015.

Today, through his speed training camps, Coach Greany brings the same elite-level performance training that has shaped the careers of hundreds of world-class athletes to a broader audience. Whether you're chasing a scholarship, a professional contract, or your personal best, his mission is the same: to help you move faster, train smarter, and perform better.
